Real Time detection of molecules

Description:

This system uses enhanced Raman spectroscopy to analyze molecules for a real time analysis of compounds in the field or laboratory. The user takes a small sample, fills the modified micro-cuvette, and puts it into the portable analyzer to quantify the desired compound within minutes. This technology can be adapted to detect a variety of molecules for different applications, including proteins and small molecules.

Details:

The system consists of special test tubes, and a portable optical monitoring device. It uses spectroscopic methods to detect the specific signal provided by the molecules of interest, without using labels or other reagents. It can be used for a variety of small molecules and biomolecules. The core technology can be easily adapted to a variety of applications where rapid detection of a molecule is required. It provides the following advantages:

  • Can be deployed in the field as it is portable, robust, and easy to use.

  • Improves safety by using it to detect counterfeiting and supply chain errors, or by using it for monitoring doses during patient administration.
